Do you want to provide vision therapies to your stroke and brain injury patients?
NovaVision provides both a vision restoration diagnostic model and a vision compensation therapy model tailor-made for rehabilitation centres and other clinics.
NovaVision offers a VRT diagnostic product called Vision Diagnostics or VIDIT, training and support and a mechanism for therapists to be able to refer patients to NovaVision for VRT therapy.
VIDIT is a diagnostic system for rehabilitation therapists and other healthcare professionals that enables them to perform high-resolution visual field tests to screen for central visual field deficits commonly associated with stroke or brain injury. An undetected visual field deficit may adversely impact other rehabilitation modalities, so early detection and treatment are critical steps towards improving overall patient care. The test can be performed in less than 10 minutes while the patient is in your care, and if a visual field deficit is detected, patients can be referred to NovaVision for treatment with VRT.
NovaVision offers potential patients in Germany the choice of visiting a NovaVision partner centre to receive an initial diagnostics before commencing VRT, and so NovaVision is always seeking centres and clinics interested in becoming a NovaVision partner.
The NeuroEyeCoach Professional Centre model is supplied by NovaVision and installed on an all-in-one computer. In addition, NovaVision will provide user manuals, marketing materials, and training.
The NeuroEyeCoach therapy program is connected to a software application that administers user accounts with personal details and therapy results. It presents itself as a web portal but is a standalone application hosted locally on the same computer that runs the therapy program.
You will have the option of connecting the computer to your internal network if applicable, in which case you will also be able to access the Portal from any other authorised networked computer.
NovaVision provides confidential secure cloud backup, remote support and assistance (you can opt-out if you wish and provide your own backup).
VRT and NeuroEyeCoach should not be administered to patients who: have a history of photosensitive seizures; are suffering acute inflammation of the eyes or central nervous system; have major cognitive defects; are not able to sit upright and focus on a task for 15-30 minutes, twice a day.
